Raising the fuel tank
(fig. 38)
Warning
To prevent fuel from spilling out through the filler cap
breather hole, the quantity of fuel in the tank should be
less than 5 litres.
Remove the seat (page 29), lift the hook (1).
Lift the tank and release the service rod (2, fig. 39) from its
holder under the seat.
Rest the tank on the service rod.
To re-attach, perform the above operations in the reverse
order.
Warning
When lowering the fuel tank, take care to position the
hoses correctly so they are not pinched or crushed.
