How to Remove the Hardware from the Host PC

The boards to be removed from your host PC depend on the
installation of the DS1103 PPC Controller Board.

Objective

If the DS1103 is installed in an expansion box connected to the
host PC via a

bus interface

, the DS817 Link Board must be

removed. The DS815 and DS821 can simply be ejected from the
host PC.

The DS1103 is installed in an expansion box connected to the host
PC via

Ethernet

, only the network cable of the expansion box

needs to be disconnected from the PC or the local area network.

Installation cases
