To connect a panel to the DS1103

NOTICE

Connecting external devices while the power supply
is switched on may damage the dSPACE hardware.

n

Do not connect or disconnect any device while the
power supply is switched on.

n

Turn off the host PC, the expansion box (if used), and
the external devices beforehand.

Plug the CP1103 or CLP1103 to the DS1103 and tighten the lock
screws. Take care not to mix up the connectors of the DS1103.
Connectors are installed correctly when ribbon cables are not
twisted and do not cross over each other. Furthermore, the
connectors are marked by labels P1A, P1B, etc.

Put templates on the panel. Turn the black clips on the panel
through 90 degrees to secure the templates to the panel.

Now you can:

Connect devices to the panel. For detailed instructions, refer to

on page 95.

Switch on the dSPACE system. Refer to
