FAQ
Q: The video is of low quality, the stream is flickering and the picture is
pixelated.
A wrong video mode and framerate may cause a pixelated and flickering
stream. Therefore, check if the settings of the decoder on the
Video/Audio
tab and those of the transmitter are corresponding.
Q: I have connected the receiver over a public IP address and can reach it
with a ping, but no video is received.
Please check your network configuration and make sure that incoming traffic
on the video and audio ports is not blocked by a firewall in your system. If
you are using a Targa Transmitter as the sending device you can try the VPN
feature to connect the devices to only use one port (the OpenVPN port). See
chapter 3.3.2 for more information.
Q: I screwed up my settings, how can I get to factory default?
You can reset all settings by using a small tool such as a straightened paper
clip to gently press the Reset button on the front site of the device. After
applying the factory settings, the device will reboot automatically.
Q: How can the software be updated?
The running firmware can be replaced on the
Backup/Flash Firmware
tab. A
new sysupgrade-compatible image needs to be uploaded, see chapter 3.2.8
for more details.
