Minimum Vent Pipe Shield – Used for Minimum Vent Configuration Only
The minimum vent pipe shield and side shields are required when running minimum vent configurations
(see page 27)
. The shield is shipped with the fireplace loose and must be installed as shown below.
Secure the pipe shield to the
firestop (mouting holes are
slotted to allow for leveling).
Approximately 41"
(1042mm) with no rise.

Secure the pipe shield to the pipe
with 4 screws. Make sure shield
is level and maintains 1" (25mm)
clearance to pipe.
