Installing the Collector Base
Tool Needed:
•
1/2" Wrench
1.
Tip the Rear Frame/Collector Base Assembly over onto the Wheels (
Figure
11
).
2.
Position the Collector Base onto the Frame and secure with six Carriage
Bolts and Locknuts using a 1/2
″
Wrench from the Product Pack (
Figure 4
).
Assembling and Installing the Power Unit
(Use Power Unit Hardware Set, see Figure 7)
Tools Needed:
•
1/2" Wrench
•
Two 3/4" Wrenches
•
Floor Jack
1.
Place the Outlet Chute on top of the Impeller Housing (make sure to orient
as shown) and secure with four Bolts, Lock Washers, and Flat Washers using
a 1/2" Wrench (
Figure 12
).
2.
Position the Power Unit at the front of the Rear Frame with the Tow Hitch
facing forward (
Figure 13
).
Note:
Clevis Pins and Hitch Clips needed for the next steps are provided in the
Product Package.
3.
Lift the Rear Frame Assembly Tube to align the rear holes and insert a 1/2" X
3.5" Clevis Pin through the holes (
Figure 13
).
4.
Use a Floor Jack to raise the Rear Frame Assembly into the Tow Hitch Tube to
align the front holes and insert a 1/2" X 3.5" Clevis Pin (
Figure 14
).
5.
Secure each Clevis Pin with a Hitch Clip.
6.
Place the two 1/2-13 X 2.75" Bolts (from underneath) up through the two
vertical Holes and secure with 1/2-13 Locknuts using two 3/4" Wrenches
(

).
7.
Plug in the Actuator Connectors (Figure 15).

We recommend having a helper to attach the Frames together. There is a
chance for injury if you attempt it alone because the Power Unit is heavy.
