Remove the two Phillips screws located in the upper
corners of the power supply plate. Pivot the power
supply plate down to gain access to the interior of
the card cage module.

Plug the backplane end (eight-position connector) of
the 9600 Backplane-to-Mech DC Power Cable (09600-
00013) into J9 on the backplane. There is a
polarizing pin on the connector, so make sure
that the connector is properly aligned with the
mating connector on the backplane!
INSTALL POWER AND DATA CABLES
1.
At the Electronic Journal (EJ), disconnect the EJ-to-
Mech data cable, using a small flat head screwdriver
to release the connector screws. Remove the cable.
2.
Disconnect the 9640 mech power cable, which is
plugged into the power supply plate (right side of card
cage module). Note: the 9640 power cable on your
ATM may be connected to a different plug than is
shown in the figure. Pull the cable through the oval
access hole and remove the cable.
Temporarily unplug the ATM power cable and any
other cable that may be connected to the power supply
plate.
