2.4.1 Logging a user into Dotypos Cloud
If you entered an already registered email address, you will be prompted to log
into the Dotypos Cloud account. When the login dialog appears, click on
LOG IN
.
Enter your current credentials and click on the button LOG IN again. If you do not
remember your credentials, you can have it sent to an email registered before.
Now select whether you want to connect the cash register to Dotypos Cloud as
a new device, to replace a device or create a new cloud (storage).
• For a new cash register, select
ADD NEW DEVICE , the cash register will be
added to an existing cloud as a new device.
• If you are replacing the original cash register with a new device, select REPLACE
DEVICE . This way all data from the original cash register will be automatically
transferred and the license in the original cash register will be deactivated.
• The option
CREATE NEW CLOUD
connects the cash register directly to a se-
parate storage.
All cash registers connected to the same cloud share their data. So they use the
same categories and products. Cash registers in separate clouds have their own
data.
After choosing the preferred options, click on Start using Dotypos to finish the
initial settings. Now you can start using the full power of Dotypos.
