7400 Series End Drive Conveyors
Preventive Maintenance and Adjustment
Required Tools
• 17 mm wrench (or adjustable wrench)
• 4 mm hex wrench (for bearing shaft assembly fasteners)
• 3 mm hex wrench
• Punch and hammer (to remove belt rod)
Checklist
• Keep service parts on hand. Refer to the "Service Parts"
section starting on page 28 for recommendations.
• Replace any worn or damaged parts.
Cleaning
Routine Cleaning
Dorner recommends cleaning the inside and the outside of
the conveyor on a daily basis. Refer to the following steps to
access the inside of the conveyor.
Standard Conveyors
1. Remove the guides, if applicable, by removing the pull
pins
(Figure 47, item 1)
that connect the guide
(Figure 47, item 2)
to the frame.

on the tension
end of the conveyor to release belt tension.
