1. Make the required cut-outs on the interior side of the door 

for the exit device as indicated on page 4.

2. Make the required cutouts on the exterior side of the door 

using the trim template or door preparation and installation 

instructions.

3. Prepare the top and bottom edges of the door for the 

latches using the Latch Mounting Preparaton information 

on page 4.

Thread rod onto latch stud until screw holes on 

rods face the center case

Outer edge latch bracket can be removed to 

accommodate narrow door stile preparations 

for Panic Deivces.

1. Install top latch and latch screws at top of door.
2. Install bottom latch and latch screws at bottom of door.
3. Fine tune the overall rod length by threading the rods in and out 
    of the latches

Cut top rod if necessary.
