After connecting the auxiliary supply A1/A2 the unit is in 

display (Run) 

mode:

The actual measured value is displayed continuously  (AC or DC)
The display is inverted when a measured value is exceeds the settings..

With button 

 the fault memory is reset.

 for more than 3 sec the unit changes to 

input mode.

In input mode the measurement is disabled, the relays are in failure mode 
and the indicator LED is orange.

With the buttons 

 

 the different setting values can be chosen.
