Note
• The access point (APN) information is saved on the
FOMA terminal. If you connect a diff erent FOMA terminal,
register the access point (APN) information again.
• If you want to use the access point (APN) information
saved on the PC, register the same access point
(APN) to the same cid on the FOMA terminal.
Setting to Show/Hide Caller ID
You can set whether to show your caller ID to
the access point during packet communication.
This section describes how to use an AT
command (*DGPIR command→P28) to confi gure
the settings prior to connecting.
Your caller ID is valuable information. Be
suffi
ciently cautious when showing your caller ID.
• "Hyper Terminal" does not run on Windows Vista.
To confi gure the settings in Windows Vista, use
communication software compatible with Windows
Vista. For the setting procedure, refer to the
instruction manual and other documentation that
come with the software to be used.

Perform Steps 1 to 5 in "Setting
Access Point (APN)" (P16)
Hyper Terminal starts.

Use an AT command to set whether
to show (186) or hide (184) caller ID
Enter the AT command in the AT*DGPIR=<n>
format as follows.
If "OK" appears after you enter the AT command,
the setting of whether to show or hide caller ID is
completed.
• If the entered characters do not appear, enter
ATE1
.

To hide caller ID
AT*DGPIR=1
When you make or answer a call, 184 is
added automatically.

To show caller ID
AT*DGPIR=2
When you make or answer a call, 186 is
added automatically.

To reset the show/hide caller ID setting to
its default (unset) using a *DGPIR command
AT*DGPIR=0
Note
• When you use the DOCOMO Internet connection
service "mopera U" or "mopera", the caller ID
needs to be set to "通知 (Show)"
Setting to show/hide caller ID using the
access point number
You can also show or hide your caller ID by
adding 186 (show) or 184 (hide) to the access
point number when you confi gure dial-up network
settings (P18).
The show/hide status of the caller ID for each
setting of the access point number and *DGPIR
command is as follows.
