6. Apply the brace by centering the rear section at the midline of the lower
back so that the belt is just above the crease of the buttocks. Secure hook
portion of donning mitt to the loop exterior.

NOTE:
When reapplying the brace, it is easiest to guide the belt by inserting a
hand in the donning mitt pocket.
NOTE:
The belt wings may be secured to the rear panel section at an angle to
accommodate a size differential between the waist and hips. (

7. Before tightening the brace, make sure the rear panel section is positioned
evenly on both sides of the patient.
8. To tighten the brace, slip your thumbs through the holes in the pull tabs.
Pull away from your body. When tightened, secure the pull tabs to the
loop exterior.

NOTE:
When sitting, loosen the compression by detaching the pull tabs. This
will help to address the brace from moving up on the patient’s torso. When
standing up, readjust the pull tabs.
BRACE REMOVAL
9. Detach the pull tabs from the loop exterior to loosen the brace. Unhook
donning mitt from the loop exterior and remove brace.
HOT/COLD PACK (SOLD SEPARATELY)
10. Follow instructions on hot/cold pack. Insert hot/cold pack into pocket and
adhere to back panel.
ADJUSTING PULL TAB LENGTH (OPTIONAL)
11. Remove lace spool from the pull tab pocket and wind lace around the
spool to shorten the length of the pull tab. Unwind lace from the spool to
lengthen the pull tab.

12. Insert lace spool back into pull tab pocket.
INSERT/REMOVE FRONT PANEL
13. Open inside panel pocket. Remove semi-rigid panel.

ATTACH/REMOVE SOFTGOODS (FOR CLEANING)

Removal of soft goods:
Open tall, rear panel pouch and detach waist
belt. Remove tall, rigid rear panel from pouch.
Waist belt:
Detach rear
panel section by unlooping waist belt from lacing guide panel. Remove
semi-rigid front panel from inside panel pocket of waist belt. Wash soft
goods per instructions below.

Attaching soft goods:
Waist belt:
Reattach rear panel section by looping waist
belt through lacing guide panel. Open inside panel pocket of waist belt and
replace semi-rigid panel. Insert rigid rear panel into pouch. With rear panel
pouch open, lay waist belt on top with lacing guide facing up. Close pouch.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS:
Separate the brace’s removable TALL REAR
PANEL before cleaning.
Hand wash in water (86°F/30°C), using mild soap. Air dry.
NOTE:
If not rinsed thoroughly, residual soap may cause irritation and
deteriorate material.
Do NOT iron.
Do NOT tumble dry.
Do NOT bleach.
