After each use
6.1 Transport and storage
Always carry the appliance carefully; ide-
ally use both hands.
Always store the appliance in its original
packaging in a cool, dry place, and keep it
out of reach of children.
6.2 Emptying the dust bin module
1.
Ensure that the appliance is switched off
(no LED is lit).
2.
Remove the robot's upper cover (Fig. 23).
It might be necessary to press firmly
(Fig. 23/arrows) to release the cover from
its locked position.
3.
Carefully pull the dust bin module out of
the appliance (Fig. 24).
4.
Remove the dust bin cover (Fig. 26).
5.
Take out the filter (Fig. 27).
6.
Tap lightly to knock out both parts and re-
move coarser debris with your hand.
7.
If dust bin and filter can no longer be com-
pletely emptied through this measure, pro-
ceed as described under
Z
Chapter 6.3,
"Cleaning dust bin and filter"
.
8.
Insert the filter back into the bin (Fig. 27)
and put the dust bin cover back on
(Fig. 28).
9.
Insert the dust bin module back into the
appliance (Fig. 24) and put on the upper
cover (Fig. 25). It will audibly snap into
place.
CAUTION:
Never store the appliance next to heat
sources (e.g. heater, oven). Avoid exposing
it to direct sunlight. Heat can damage the
appliance.
