Installation:
1. Fasten the clip brackets, in parallel position, with the appropriate
fastening material for the mounting surface. The distance of the
clip brackets should at least have half the length of the DIRECTTECH
heating panel. Attention! Do not install the brackets in a bended or
compressed state (see p.47).
2. For electric installations, the regulations of EN/VDE and of the local
power supply company (EVU) are decisive.
3. Now push the DIRECTTECH heating panel with the frame profi le
placed on the backside acc. to the drawing (see p.47) against the clips
at the end of the clip bracket. Please push the panel softly against the
clips until you can hear it snaping (click), when the clips snap in the
profi le path.
4. Before you release the DIRECTTECH heating panel, please make sure
that the clips had indeed locked into place.
Dismantling:
1. Disconnect the electrical connections according to safety instructions
and technical rules.
2. Push the DIRECTTECH heating panel in one direction against the
clip brackets until the clip releases at the end of the clip bracket (it
unclips). Then take the DIRECTTECH heating panel on the released
side to the front and subsequently you can release the opposite side
by lifting up the clip of the clip brackets from the frame profi le on the
backside.
3. Place the DIRECTTECH heating panel carefully on its backside to avoid
damages of the carrier material (glass or mirror).
4. By installing as well as dismantling of the DIRECTTECH heating panel,
the clips may be bent through excessively heavy pressing. Therefore,
it is important to ensure that the condition of the clips is proper
before you start the re-installation (see p.47).
