In case of damages caused by disregarding these operating instruc-
tions the warranty claim expires. For consequential damages we
assume no liability. In case of material- or personal damages caused
by improper handling or noncompliance with our security advices we
assume no liability. In these cases every warranty claim expires.
• Unauthorized modification and/ or conversion of the product is
not permitted for reasons of safety and approval (CE).
• The construction of the product complies with the protection
class IP54 for DIRECTTECH CRYSTAL, DIRECTTECH MIRROR and
DIRECTTECH STONE.
• The power supply is only permitted to take place via the public grid
(230VAC/50Hz).
• Devices which are connected to the mains voltage do not belong in
the hands of children. Please especially take care in the presence of
children.
• Do not disassemble the product, there is danger of a life-threate-
ning electric shock!
• Do not leave the packaging material carelessly. Plastic foils, styro-
foam parts etc. could become a dangerous toy for children.
• To connect the DIRECTTECH heating panel to the supply voltage,
work needs to be carried out on the mains voltage respectively on
live voltage-carrying parts.
• Make sure that the supply voltage cannot be switched on by third
parties while the work at the DIRECTTECH heating panel is being
carried out.
SECuRITY ADvICES !
• Only people who are appropriately trained are authorized to carry
out work on voltage-carrying parts. If you are not appropriately
trained, please consult an authorized qualified electrician for carry-
ing out these works.
• It must be ascertained that the installation site (STONE heating
panel= wall, CRYSTAL& MIRROR heating panels= wall/ceiling) pro-
vides a sufficient carrying capacity and strength in accordance with
the weight of the product.
• It is not allowed to run the DIRECTTECH heating panel without a
control system.
• For external control you must only use VDE-approved mains volta-
ge switches due to their direct contact to the mains voltage.
• For commercial establishments, please take notice of the accident
prevention regulations of the appropriate Employers´ Liability
Insurance Association for electrical equipment and facilities.
• Please consult a qualified electrician if you have doubts about the
functioning, the security or the connection of the DIRECTTECH hea-
ting panel.
• Please handle the DIRECTTECH heating panel carefully. Hits, strokes
or falls from even a short height can cause damages.
• This operating manual with its installation instructions only refers
to the integration of the DIRECTTECH heating panel into the cus-
tomary control electrics. We assume no liability for deviant usage.
The general valid standards TAB and VDE/EN standards do apply
here.
