The driver’s vision enhancer monitor, dve10vr2, is a member of the dse’s intelligent
display systems. This ruggedized 10.4” LCd video display is engineered to support the
dve Family of systems (FOs). The dve10vr2 will operate in extreme environments
found in tactical wheeled and tracked military vehicles, and is land or water ready. The
dve10vr2 is designed with a programmable button interface for asCii or Hex code (via
rs232) protocol for control of external systems.
Housed in a milled billet aluminum case, the dve10vr2 monitor is light weight and water-
tight, with military-grade connectors. Front-mounted controls makes this rugged outdoor
video monitor user-friendly.
The dve10vr2 is fully daylight readable. The TFT LCd display offers svga resolution
(800 x 600) and incorporates Transflective enhancement and antireflective / antiglare
surface Treatments. a toggle switch allows for easy movement between sensor and com-
posite inputs.
The ruggedized military dve display can be used in operations such as situational aware-
ness and vehicle tracking, and can give the modern warfighter the ability to detect targets
or ambushes outside the vehicle. The dve10vr2 display can easily be installed in a
standard a-kit mount, and is fully backwards compatible with existing dve installations,
making it suitable for any tactical vehicle application.
