The amount of color in an image.
Scope

SDTV (Standard Definition Television)

signals, the resolution is 576i; for
NTSC
it is 480i.
SECAM (Sequential Color with Memory)
The television system used in France, Russia and some other countries - 625 lines transmitted at 50
interlaced
fields per second.
