PS11 also detects that the toner cartridge is installed. When the 
cartridge is in its detection position, light emitted from the LED of 
PS11 is intercepted by the cartridge, therefore not able to reach the 
photodiode of PS11. If the light is detected at the photodiode, the 
video controller is notified of a toner cartridge absence failure.
