RULE of AUTO UPDATE:

 

Every time you power on the VoIP Gateway, it will notify you with “

BEEP BEEP BEEP

” there is an up to 

date firmware available on 

TFTP Server

 after you pick up the phone; you can update the firmware 

manually. 

 

Create the Auto Update files on TFTP Server:

 

1. To check the current firmware version of the VoIP Gateway: 

 a. 

Telnet 10.0.0.2

 

 b. Enter the login name 

admin

 and password 

administrator

. 

 c. 

ver

 

 d. You will get the firmware version as follow:  

    

Firmware Version: V701240 

2. Create a 

TA2S_ver.dat

 due to format of the file is 

Firmware File Prefix

_

 ver.dat

 and edit the 

content as follow: 

   Version: 

701250

 NAME:

TA2S_

 

3. Change the new firmware 

voip.gz

 to 

TA2S_701250

.gz
