Scale Programming
45
•
Specification 02, Bit 2 - Setpoint Selection, sets whether the setpoint is programmed on the basis of
pieces or weight. The default is 0: Pieces.
•
Specification 02, Bit 3 - Buzzer Output Type, sets whether the buzzer sounds as “Proper” or “Scare/
Over”. The default is 0: Proper. (Example: If the Buzzer Output Type is set to 0: Proper and you
have set point values of 50, 75, and 100, a fast beep will sound at 75 and turn off when you reach
100. If Buzzer Output Type is set to 1:Scare/Over, and you have the same set point values of 50, 75,
and 100, a slow beep will begin at 50 and stop when you reach 75. When you reach 100 there will be
a fast beep.)
1. While in the Counting Mode screen (either Normal Counting Mode or TEP Mode) press the
MODE
key
to go to the Mode Menu screen.
2. In the Mode Menu screen, press
4
to enter the Set Point Setting screen.
(
NOTE:
If Specification 01 Bits 3 and 2 are set to 10: Item Set Point or 00: No Operation, this menu option is disabled.)
3. Enter the data for Set Point 1 (Example: 500.000). Even though the cursor appears at the rightmost digit
of the field, the digits you enter will be filled in from the left of the field. (i.e. to enter a set point of 50,
enter 50; to enter 500, enter 500, etc.) Remember that Specification 02, Bit 2 determines whether the
setpoints are by pieces or by weight.
4. Press the
+ (Plus)
key to temporarily store Set Point 1 in memory and move to Set Point 2 and then to
Set Point 3. You can press the
- (Minus)
key at any time to move to a previous setpoint or press the
TARE
key at any time to exit the Set Point Setting screen without saving any data.
5. When you are done programming the setpoints, press the
key to save your setpoints. The scale
will return you to the Mode Menu. Press the
TARE
key twice to return to whichever Counting Mode
screen you started in - Normal Counting Mode or TEP Mode.
