2) Wash all parts with water and mild detergent and
rinse in water before placing in hot water or
sterilising. Check that there is no liquid left inside.
This is particularly important for the heating
element, as liquid can get trapped behind the
temperature measurement system

Cleaning by boiling water
:
Bring sufficient water to the boil and place
the permitted items (see table) in the
boiling water for three minutes

Cleaning in the dishwasher
:
Clean the permitted items (see table) by
placing these in the top section of the
dishwasher

Cleaning using a (microwave) steriliser
:
Follow the instructions on the steriliser. (only place the permitted

Descaling the heating element
It is important to clean the

use and to descale at least once every 3 months for optimal operation.
