8) During feeding,
the
protective cap
F
can be
placed on the bottom of the
heating element
C
;
this protects the contact rings
9) Shake the bottle a few times to spread the
heat evenly
10) Test a few drops on the inside of your wrist
before feeding your baby to ensure that the food
is at the correct temperature. You will not feel the
drop if the feed is the right temperature (37°C).
If the feed is too cold or too hot, you will feel the
drop on your wrist, depending also on your own
body temperature
11) You can feed your child directly with the S-bottle
including heating element and bottle base; these
do not need to be disassembled first
The
O-ring valve
B
with vacuum system ensures
that all the advantages of the S-bottle are
retained, so that your baby has less trouble with
burping, vomiting and colic
3) Screw the
S-bottle ring
(III) and
teat
(II) on the
bottle body
(V)
4) Place the entire unit in the
base station
G
and
press firmly in place
5) To switch on the S-bottle warmer, press and hold
the
operating button
H
for at least 3 seconds
until it flashes red and you hear a beep sound.
This is an additional child safety feature
6) Once the contents of the bottle has reached the
temperature of 37 °C * the S-bottle warmer will
automatically switch off. You will hear 3 beeps and
the
operating button
H
will turn green. Heating
should take approx. 3 minutes depending on the
ambient temperature and the temperature of
the food
7) Remove the bottle from the
base station
G
* +/- 2 °C
3 sec.
When you warm up the bottle, do not seal it with
the
S-bottle non-spill cap
(I) or with the sealable
disk (IV). This due to the build-up of pressure inside
during heating
