CHECKING THE SAFETY DEVICES (MICRO-SWITCHES) AND ACOUSTIC DEVICES 

Follow the procedure below to check functionality of the safety devices. 
 

1.  Open the lid with the instrument off. 
2.  Turn on the instrument. If it is functioning properly an acoustic signal should sound. 
3.  Close the lid and check that it is locked and do a reset. 

 

If the instrument is functioning properly, an acoustic signal should sound and the lid should lock. If not,
