POSITIONING
The laboratory of analysis is the best site for the installation of this instrument.
For normal safety requirements and in view of the type of examination to be performed, the instrument
must be positioned away from heat sources, in areas that cannot be reached by liquids, in dust-free
environments, on perfectly clean, level surfaces that are not subjected to shocks or vibrations.
Moreover, it is recommended placing the instrument as far away as possible from any electromagnetic
waves generators (e.g. refrigerators, laboratory centrifuges) and instrumentation lacking in the CE
mark, as these could compromise its correct functioning.
In order to avoid overheating of the instrument (blocking of the fan) and to be able to act quickly on the
switch and power supply cable; the safety distances described in the figure 2.4.1 must be respected
(rear panel 20 cm from the wall, front panel free, left and right side panels 10 cm space).

It is strictly prohibited to place anything on top of the instrument.
Choose a position near a power point, which is free from interference and voltage surges.
Never move the instrument while in use. If moving the instrument is necessary it is
compulsory to recheck the conditions listed in this paragraph before turning it on again.
If the instrument is not used for longer periods of time it should be disconnected from the
power supply and covered.
