Basic Power System
The following conditions occur when the idle power switch is turned off:
• the processor enters sleep mode
• the alarm modules continue working
• power to the other modules can be turned off
To completely remove AC power to the cash dispenser, the
power cord to the cash dispenser must be removed from its
receptacle or the AC power to the cash dispenser must be
removed at the quick disconnect device (such as a circuit
breaker) for the cash dispenser.
The system processor power switch (Figure 2-12) is not for
customer operations. If this switch is used inappropriately,
data could be lost or damaged.

Maintenance Mode Switch
Use the maintenance mode switch to remove the cash dispenser from consumer
service and place it in maintenance mode. The maintenance mode switch is
shown in Figure 2-12, item 3.
The consumer display might display an out-of-service message when the
maintenance mode switch is pressed. Refer to the

information.
