OPERATING PETROL ENGINE
1 CHOKE CONTROL SYSTEM
The choke lever (left) is situated on the engine and has 2 positions:
• not choking (working position, handle up to right stop).
• Choking (handle up to the left).
Warm start/ hot environment:t:: Do not choke. Choke handle stays to the right
stop.
Cold start:Choke when needed. heaten up the engine. Move the choke handle
to the right, so the engine gets hotter.
2 FUEL TAP
The fuel tap has two positions:
• oFF = no fuel ( tap to the left ) @ engine out of use.
• on = fuel (tap to the right ) @ engine in operation.
3 THROTTLE LEVER
The speed control happens automatically via the ETC controller. at not
operating the spray gun, the motor will be regulated to idle speed by the ETC.
at operating the spray gun, the motor will be regulated to maximum speed set
by the ETC.
Remark: Use the throttle handle NEVER
to arrange the spray pressure.
• Starting and warming up: put the operating switch to position 1 / turn the key
contact to position STaRT and make sure that the fuel tap is on position on.
If starter does not turn engine over, shut off starter immediately. Do not make
further attempts to start engine until condition is corrected. Start the engine,
electrically or with the traction cord. hold the lever in this position, so the
engine can run at lower revolutions.
• Engine at operating temperature: operate the spray gun, until the desired
number of revs of the engine is achieved.
• Switching off the engine: let the engine run at stationary revs for a while to
cool down. put the operating switch to position 0: oFF (= out), key switch to
position oFF and the fuel tap on oFF.
Make sure that the machine is switched off (OFF) after the spraying
activities, if it remains in ON position the battery will drain!
