keys, if necessary, to select a baud rate for the
Pachette 2
that
matches the baud rate of the printer (9600 is the default setting for the SII DPU-
414 printer). Press
ENTER
to confirm selection, then display will indicate:

7. Use
the
↑
or
↓
keys to enable or disable the Notes box on the printout.

Connecting The Printer To The Pachette 2 And Loading Paper
1. Turn off the power switch on the
Pachette 2
and the SII DPU-414 printer.
2. Plug
the
Pachette 2
AC power cord into the back panel of the
Pachette 2
and into
a three-prong AC outlet.
3. Connect the printer AC adapter to the back of the SII DPU-414 printer and to an
AC outlet as described in section 2.1 of the SII DPU-414 Operation Manual.
4. Plug the RS232C, 25-pin, “D-Type” connector on the end of the printer cable into
the mating connector on the rear of the
Pachette 2
.
Note:
If the printer is to be mated to the
Pachette 2
for extended periods of time,
it is recommended that the “D-Type” connector be secured to the
Pachette 2
using
