The 4-channel audio connector (J8) supports 4 audio output signals:
center channel, subwoofer, rear right channel and rear left channel. The
4-channel audio connector together with the line-in and mic-in jacks
(at the rear panel) supports 6-channel audio output. One card-edge
bracket,  mounted  with  a  4-channel  audio  output  connector,  will  be
provided  as  an  option.  Install  the  card-edge  bracket  to  the  system
chassis then connect the audio cable connector to J8. Make sure pin
1  of  the  cable  connector  is  aligned  with  pin  1  of  J8.  Now  connect
the external speakers’ cable connector to the 4-channel audio output
connector that is on the bracket.

Note:

If,  for  any  reason,  you  are  not  using  the  4-channel  audio
connector  which  is  made  possible  by  connecting  a  4-channel
audio  cable,  the  6-channel  audio  output  function  can  be
supported  using  software.  Refer  to  chapter  4  for  more
information.
