BIOS Setup
MODEM Use IRQ
This field is used to set an IRQ channel for the modem installed in
your system.
Soft-Off by PWRBTN
This field allows you to select the method of powering off your
system.
Delay 4 Sec. Regardless of whether the Power Management
function is enabled or disabled, if the power but-
ton is pushed and released in less than 4 sec, the
system enters the Suspend mode. The purpose
of this function is to prevent the system from
powering off in case you accidentally “hit” or
pushed the power button. Push and release again
in less than 4 sec to restore. Pushing the power
button for more than 4 seconds will power off
the system.
Instant-Off Pressing and then releasing the power button at
once will immediately power off your system.
Poweron By PCI Card
Enabled This field should be set to Enabled only if your PCI
card such as LAN card or modem card uses the
PCI PME (Power Management Event) signal to
remotely wake up the system.
Access to the LAN
card or PCI card will cause the system to wake up.
Refer to the card’s documentation for more
information.
Disabled The system will not wake up despite access to the
PCI card.
