Chapter 8

TPM 2.0 Hotfix (for Windows 7 only)

This hotfix is applicable to Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed with Trusted Platform

Module (TPM) 2.0. In addition, your system must be 64-bit Windows and supports UEFI

booting mode with Compatibility Support Module (CSM). It enables the use of BitLocker Drive

Encryption with TPM 2.0.

Use these steps to install this hotfix:

1. Click “Yes“ to install the

Windows software update.

2. The update is being in-

stalled now.

3. Click “Restart Now” to

restart your computer when

the installation is complete.
