ACPI Settings
This section configures the ACPI settings.
Wake on LAN
Enable the system to be woken up via its onboard Ethernet ports.
State After G3
Specify which state the system should be in when the power is re-applied after a power
failure (G3 state, the mechanical-off state).
Always on
Power on the system when power is re-applied after a AC power loss.
Always off
Power off the system when power is re-applied after a AC power loss.
Wake on RTC
Automatically power the system on at a particular time every day from the Real-time clock
battery. Specify the wake up time of the day below: <hour> (00~23), <minute> (00~59),
<second> (00~59).
CPU Configuration
This section configures the CPU.
Intel
®
SpeedStep™
Enable or disable the Enhanced Intel
SpeedStep
®
Technology (EIST). The EIST helps
optimize the balance between system’s power consumption and performance.
Turbo Mode
Enable or disable processor turbo mode (requires that EMTTM is enabled too), which
allows the processor core to automatically run faster than the base frequency when
the processor’s power, temperature, and specification are within the limits of TDP.
Note this option is not available on the Core
™
i3 processor.
CPU C States
Enable or disable CPU Power Management. It allows the CPU to go to C states when
it’s not 100% utilized.
Hyper-Threading
Enable Intel
®
Hyper-Threading Technology (HT) on the processor to improve per-
formance of operating systems and software that are optimized for hyper-threading
technology. Please check the software specifications to determine if enabling HT can
be advantageous to the overall system performance.
