1. Reprocess reusable products as described below.
AUTO-LOCK LOOP.
Locate the gingival segment of the AUTO-LOCK LOOP. This part will
usually remain attached to the band upon removal, but may become
dislodged. If segment of AUTO-LOCK LOOP has separated from band,
remove it from the mouth and properly discard.
3.2 Removing the matrix
1. Clip any part of the projecting end of the AUTO-LOCK LOOP (Figure 5).
2. After clipping, immediately retrieve any loose part and remove from mouth.

closed containing the cut piece during withdrawal from the mouth.
4. Empty Catch-Tray and properly discard cut piece.
5. Insert an explorer, scaler or suitable instrument through the lock-release hole lo-
cated on the band near the coil.
6. Gently pull lock-release hole occlusally until the matrix slips open.

7. Support the restoration marginal ridge(s) with a condenser.
8. Slide loosened matrix buccally or lingually, while removing matrix occlusally.
9. Properly discard matrix.
10. Empty Catch-Tray.

can be reprocessed for up to 800 times.
The Catch-Tray can be reprocessed for up to 80 times.
4.1 Disassembly
1. For loosening of Catch-Tray, open AutoMatrix
®
Snippers

as widely as possible
(Figure 6).
2. Pull off Catch-Tray from the AutoMatrix
®
Snippers
+
(Figure 7).
4.2 Manual cleaning
1. In case of gross contamination of the devices, remove it using a soft brush and run-
ning water.
2. Discard gloves according to local regulations and disinfect hands with an appropri-
ate bactericidal, virucidal, and fungicidal hand disinfectant solution according to
local regulations. Use according to disinfectant solution manufacturer’s Instructions
for Use.
3. Use a new clean pair of examination gloves.
4. Clean devices with a soft brush, warm water, and an appropriate cleaning solution
until free of visible contamination. Pay special attention to devices seams and inser-
tions.
5. Remove cleaning solution residue with a cloth soaked with water.
6. Dry devices with a lint-free, single-use cloth.
