Problem

The AC/DC symbol and
the program window are
blinking. This does
not
indicate any malfunction
of the unit, but notifies the
user that the apex
measurement function is
unavailable.
The AC adapter is connected. Apex
measurement using the apex accessory
set is only possible when the unit is
operated on battery power.
Disconnect
the
AC
adapter
and
perform the apex measurement with
the unit operating on battery power.
Motor handpiece
Problem
Cause
Solution
The motor handpiece
does not rotate.
The motor handpiece cord is not
connected.
Check the connection.
There is a break in the motor handpiece
or the motor handpiece cord.
Contact your distributor .
The contra angle is clogged.
Clean or replace the contra angle.
There is a short circuit inside the motor
handpiece or the motor handpiece cord.
Contact your distributor.
The motor is not switched on.
Push the ON/OFF key on the
handpiece.
The file has no contact with the
handpiece.
Check the connection between the file
and the contact fork, clean it if
necessary.
Check the connection between the
removable connection part and the
motor handpiece.
The mode for Apex locator only is
selected.
Select the required mode, motor only
or dual.
Apex measurement is not
possible.
(In apex locator or dual
mode)
The file has no contact with the
handpiece.
Check the connection between the file
and the contact fork, clean it if
necessary.
Check the connection between the
removable connection part and the
motor handpiece.
Motor or measurement cable is not
properly connected.
Check the connection.

Warranty
Manufacturers warrant products to the original purchaser against defects in material and
workmanship under normal practices of installation, use and servicing.
The control unit, motor handpiece and contra angle are warranted for 24 months from the
date of purchase.
