Coolant Water Lines
1. At the foot control, fl ip the toggle to WET
(Figure 30) .
2. Purge air from the coolant water lines on each
handpiece as follows:
a. Turn the water coolant valve
counterclockwise to its full, open position.
b. Remove the handpiece tubing from holder.
c. While facing the deliver head, start with the
handpiece tubing on the far left, then fully
depress the foot control to allow water to
fl ow into a sink or other container.

Syringe
If the unit is equipped with a syringe, fi rst depress
the air button and then the water button to test
the fl ow.
• Before connecting handpieces, all air must
be purged from the coolant water lines to
allow the system to function properly.
