2. Risidual risks
Even if used properly, residual risks can exist even if the relevant safety regulations are complied with
due to the design determined by the intended purpose.
Residual risks can be minimised if the “Safety instructions” and the “Normal intended use” as well as
the whole of the operating instructions are observed.
Observing these instructions, and taking proper care, will reduce the risk of personal injury or damage
to the equipment.
Burn hazard:
Touching the exhaust boxes, exhaust pipe or other heated parts of the machine can
cause burns.
Electrical Hazard:
The generator produces energy. Misuse may result in an electric shock.
In addition, in spite of all the precautionary measures taken, non-obvious residual risks can
still exist.
3. Meaning of the used symbols
Our generators are safe and reliable if used according to purpose.
Please read this operation manual carefully prior to use of your device
to avoid injuries or material damage.
Only touch machine parts if they came to a standstill.
The silencer reaches a high temperature during operation and also
cools down slowly after the device is turned off. Do not touch the
silencer when it is hot. Let the generator cool off before it is stored in
the house. Minimum distance to fixed objects has to be at least 1m.
The exhaust fumes of the device contain carbon monoxide, a colour
and odourless gas. Do NOT operate the device in closed rooms!
ALWAYS ensure sufficient ventilation of the location!
NEVER connect more than one plug to a power socket in order to
avoid electric shock!
In order to avoid electric shock, the generator should only be operated
with a strong, grounded cable.
Do not connect the generator with other circuits.
Fire, open flames and smoking are forbidden. Fuel and oil are
inflammable and may explode.
