6. Operation
The cabinet was aligned in its functions with Part 1 of DIN 12925. A major component is the fire protection func-
tion in connection with the automatic door closure. For greater ease of operation this is linked with the door lock-
ing system, so that for loading and unloading the cabinet the doors are locked in the open state.
In case of fire the door close automatically, even if because of an operating error they were locked with the
doors open. The closure mechanism in this case ensures that the doors are locked after the closing procedure.
For this reason it is prohibited to remain in the cabinet. An unintentional closing of the doors could lead to peo-
ple being locked in. The solid structure of the cabinet means that because of the high level of sound proofing if a
person us locked in they cannot draw attention to themselves.
On the back the cabinet has an earth connection (M5).
This is connected with a steel angle located inside.
The earth can be picked up on this with earth cables (fittings)
and connected to the decanting vessels.
Ensure that the cabinet doors can be opened and closed independently
of one another and as a result no closing order control is
required. To this end each door has its own cylinder lock.
The direction of turning both locks is identical! This means that each door
is closed by turning to the left and opened by turning to the
right.
The closing and opening of the doors is hydraulically cushioned.
The cushioning is factory-fitted and basically does not need to be
adjusted by the user.
7. Maintenance and servicing
The inspection and maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the instructions of the gen-
eral operating instructions enclosed in the annex.
Doors and collecting sump must be inspected at regular intervals for good condition.
Check the firm hold of the screwed connections.
Grease the locks and hinges with commercial grease where necessary.
When replacing parts only the manufacturer’s original parts may be used!
