Removing/attaching the grass
collection box
Caution: Do not operate the
equipment with the grass collec-
tion box (23) or impact protec-
tion (22) installed incompletely.
Risk of injury
Assemble grass collection box
• Put the plastic straps (29) over
the grass collection box rod (30).
Fixing the Grass Collection Box onto
the Equipment:
Prior to using the grass collection
box (23), the mulch kit (27) and
lateral ejection chute (28) must be
removed.(see , ).
1. Lift the rear impact protection (22).
2. Hold the grass collection
box (23) by the carrying handle.
3. Hang the grass collection
box (23) into the grass collecti-
on box attachment (31) on the
rear of the device.
4. Remove the impact protecti-
on (22); it keeps the grass col-
lection box in place.
Removing/emptying the grass
collection box:
1. Switch off the engine and wait
for the blade to come to a stop.
2. Lift the impact protection (22).
3. Remove the grass collection
box (23) by the carrying handle.
4. Empty the grass collection box
(See chapter “Disposal/
environmental protection”).
5. Mount the grass collection box
again.
Filling level indicator
There is a filling level indicator (
23)
on the grass collection box (
23a). The
filling level indicator only works while the
machine is in operation.

Flap open: grass catcher empty
STOP
Flap closed: grass catcher full
The grass collection box must be
emptied.
Mulchkit
Prior to using the mulch kit (27),
the lateral ejection canal (28) has
to be removed ( see “Lateral grass
ejection” ).
Attaching mulch kit
1.
Remove the gras collection box
( 23) , if used.
2. Lift the impact protection (22).
3. Insert the mulch kit (27) into
the holder and push in the bra-
cket (27a) of the mulch kit (27).
You will hear the bracket (27a)
click into place.
Remove mulch kit
1. Lift the impact protection (22) .
2. Push in the bracket (27a)
3. Remove the mulch kit (27).
Lateral grass ejection
Before using the lateral grass
ejection, the mulch kit ( 27)
has to be inserted and the grass
collection box ( 23) has to be
removed.
