8.
Loosen the sensor protection at the top of the probe.
9.
Replace it, with the perforated cap (screw it carefully) and its threaded metal ring (different
measures are available according to the different kinds of probe), paying attention that it is well
positioned in the base.
10.
Open the lid of the 75%RH saturated solution.
11.
Check that there are no drops of solution inside the measuring chamber: if any, blot them with
paper.
12.
Insert the probe in the container, paying attention that the cap with the probe is in the base.
The
measuring chamber has to be perfectly closed, otherwise it won’t reach saturation
: it is
very important that no air passes through from outside to inside the chamber.
13.
Wait 30 minutes, at least
.
14.
Then you can press OK to confirm: after some seconds, you will be asked to enter the humidity
value really applied. This value is the value that appears in the table on the label of the container
of saturated solution in correspondence with the temperature provided by the program. In the
following example, at a 22.3°C temperature provided by the program, corresponds a relative
humidity of about 75.3%: this is the value to be entered.
