DISCHARGE CHUTE. REMOVE CHIPS AND SHAVINGS WITH BRUSH OR
VACUUM ONLY AFTER THE CUTTING KNIVES HAVE COMPLETELY STOPPED
AND THE POWER IS DISCONNECTED. NEVER PERFORM PLANING
OPERATIONS WITH GUARDS OR COVERS REMOVED. DISCONNECT MACHINE
FROM POWER SOURCE BEFORE MAKING REPAIRS OR ADJUSTMENTS.
KICKBACK HAZARD.
NEVER FORCE THE WORKPIECE. ALLOW THE FEED
ROLLERS TO DO THEIR JOB. NEVER PLANE MATERIAL WHICH IS SHORTER
THAN 10 INCHES (254 MM). MAKE SURE THAT SPEED CONTROL IS FULLY
ENGAGED BEFORE FEEDING WORK MATERIAL.
