Maintenance interventions general plan
The periodic checks detailed below relate to controlling elements that have no immediate impact on the
operation of the machine, but that, over time, can cause serious problems and damage. Therefore we
recommend a careful reading of this part of the operation and maintenance manual and an equally precise
execution of the recommended steps.
Maintenance and cleaning are indispensable for the machine to function properly in time. A large part
of the maintenance operations can be performed directly by the operator, while some specific operations
have to be performed by a specialized engineer.
Safety
– General rules
To intervene safely and properly on the machine, the following indications must be respected :

Before performing any kind of operation, make sure that the machine is at a standstill and that
the power supply is turned off, so as to eliminate the risk of it being activated unintentionally
while the maintenance work is being done.
•
Wear gloves, a protective mask and safety glasses.
•
If the operation is performed by more than one operator, make sure that the communication
between the operators is easy and unambiguous.
•
If the punch or other components have to be replaced, only spare parts provided by the
manufacturer should be used.
Delta Visione declines all liability for faults due to the use of spare
parts not supplied by the manufacturer.
•
The use of flammable substances or water for cleaning is strictly prohibited.
