Transport
When the machine has to be transported or stored, particular care must be taken to protect the punch and
cover the compartment that houses it, to avoid shocks that could jeopardize its operation.
The operator must also be protected against accidental contact with the tip of the punch to avoid
injury.
The shape and weight of the machine will guarantee sufficient stability of the packaging, which must,
in any case, be produced in conformance with the corresponding directive.
Once the protective and any packaging operations have been performed, the machine can be transported.
The machine is to be lifted by an operator wearing gloves and safety shoes.
If the machine is to be transported using slings or forklift trucks, particular attention should be paid to
the slinging operation, which must be performed in conformance with the corresponding directive. Due
to the fragility of the internal electronic systems, every effort shall be made to avoid the machine
undergoing shocks during transport.
Installation
Once removed from its packaging, the DEV7 marking machine can be prepared for commissioning.

The machine has a 230 VAC PC-type VDE power socket. To avoid the presence of current inside the
machine during maintenance operations, the mains connection must have a device for shutting off the
main power supply.
