STEAM CLEANING
Recommended for the maximum hygiene of
non-delicate unwaxed hard floors (ceramic tiles,
linoleum or vinyl floors, tiles in general) and to
clean glass surfaces.
Fit your PENTAVAP with the required
attachment.
Rotate selector (5) to the water-only position.
Plug in your PENTAVAP (green light on) and
depress the suction (19) and steam (23) buttons
on (flashing red light on) (fig. H). Wait a few
seconds, then proceed to clean using the same
technique as for cold- or hot-water cleaning. To
switch the machine off, depress the white
cleaning-lock (20) and suction (19) buttons.

By fitting the crevice tool with the steam injector
and the brush attachment, you can easily clean
grouting, radiators, bathroom fittings and all
other hard-to reach places (fig. H*).
USEFUL TIP:
In case of particularly large
surfaces, the external tank marked with the
water + shampoo symbol can be filled with
water only, thus prolonging the autonomy of the
machine. Conversely, if more shampoo is
needed, a larger percentage can be added to
the water.
IMPORTANT: After using your PENTAVAP,
always drain the solution dispenser by
working the dispenser trigger and then
disconnect the flexible hose and the solution
dispenser before storing the appliance.
CAUTION:
Do not depress the extraction
cleaning button when there is either no
detergent solution or water only in the tank, or
when using the appliance for wet or dry
vacuuming. In case of incorrect use of the pump
(extraction cleaning activated but the detergent
solution not used for 15 minutes or longer),
pump action shuts off automatically to prevent
damage. In that case, wait at least 30 minutes
before switching the machine on again.
