RECOMMENDATIONS

Follow these recommendations to achieve
maximum efficiency from your air conditio-
ning unit:

Close the doors and windows in the room

where the unit is functioning. The only
exception is in the case of installation throu-
gh a hole in the wall or window. In this case,
you are recommended to allow a small
amount of air to enter through a door or

the sun’s rays by drawing the curtains
and/or partially lowering the blinds so as
to maximise energy savings.

PROBLEM WARNING LIGHT

The lighted pilot light

indicates that the

safety device of the pressure switch has swit-
ched on.  In this case the appliance is deac-
tivated.  To restore the proper functioning of
the appliance, eliminate the possible causes
of the problem and press the restore button

The causes may be:

1)

The exhaust hose forms a siphon in which
condensation water has accumulated:

in

this case, it is necessary to drain the accu-
mulated out of the machine, outwards
(never towards the air conditioner) and
eliminate the siphon on the hose.

2)

The exhaust hose is obstructed:

eliminate

the obstacles which obstruct the expulsion
of the air to the outside.

If, after having repositioned the drainage tube,
the machine still does not start up, the problem
might be more complicated (ex.: obstructed
ventilation fan) and could require the assistan-
ce of the Authorised Service Centre.
