Prerequisites

Remove the
base cover
.

Remove the
battery
.
Procedure
1
Remove the screws that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.
2
Peel off the tape that secures the display cable to the I/O board.
3
Disconnect the media-card reader cable from the I/O board.
