Place the fingerprint reader into the slot on the palmrest.

Place the metal bracket on the fingerprint reader and replace the screw to secure the fingerprint reader to the system.

Affix the adhesive–backed cable to secure it to the palmrest.

Connect the fingerprint reader cable to the connector on the system board.

Remove the:

Remove the two M2x2 screws that secures the touchpad bracket to the system [1].

Lift the metal bracket from the system [2].
5
Peel off the adhesive tape that secures the touchpad panel [1].
6
Disconnect the touchpad cable and keyboard backlight cable from their respective connectors on the system board [2,3]
