There are two removable system fans: a front fan behind the drive bays and a
back fan on the chassis back panel.
To remove a system cooling fan, follow these steps:

a. Push the plunger of each of the push-fasteners toward the back of the
chassis, using a small flat-blade screwdriver (or another small flat
object).
b. Pull the plungers completely out of the push-fasteners on the back wall
of the chassis.
The back fan is mounted using four fasteners. The front fan is held in place
by two tabs on its left side and two push-fasteners on the right.
