To remove a DIMM, push outward on the DIMM socket’s securing clips, as shown
in Figure 4-15, until the DIMM is released from its socket. Then lift the DIMM away
from the socket.

To replace a DIMM, press outward on the securing clips at each end of the
socket until they snap open (step 1 in Figure 4-16). Orient the DIMM to the
socket, and press down on the outer edges of the DIMM with your thumbs
while pulling up on the securing clips until they lock around the ends of the
DIMM (step 2 in Figure 4-16).
