Procedure
1
Peel the tape that secures the touchscreen-board cable to the system board.

Open the latch and disconnect the touchscreen-board cable from the system board.

Peel the tape to release the touchscreen-board cable and remove the cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.

Peel the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.

Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board.

Peel the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.

Remove the display cable from the routing guide on the palm-rest assembly.

Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible.
CAUTION:
Place the computer on a soft and clean surface to avoid scratching the display.

Turn the computer over and remove the five screws (M2.5x3.5) that secure the display hinges to the I/O board and system board.
