Entering the Service Tag in the BIOS

Turn on the computer.

Enter System Setup:
– during POST, when the DELL logo is displayed, watch for the F2
prompt to appear, press
F2
key on your keyboard immediately.
– press the power and volume-down button simultaneously to enter
System Setup.
– press the power and volume-up button to launch the
One Time Boot
Menu
and select
Enter Setup
.

Navigate to the
Main
tab and enter the Service Tag in the
Service Tag
Input
field.
